Entry Information

Come and take part in American Canyon's 4th of July Parade! Wave to the town as you walk down Elliott Drive leading the crowd to the festival, while showing off your float/organization for the community to see. To sign up for the 4th of July Parade Entry, click here.

If you are driving a vehicle, please provide vehicle documentation by completing this form.

Staging will take place at 2 p.m. on American Canyon Road.

Community Organizations and Businesses Parade Entry Insurance Requirements

General Liability Insurance (minimum $1 Million each Occurrence, $2 Million aggregate) naming the City as the certificate holder as follows:

Driving a vehicle in the parade

Auto Insurance: $250,000 per person / $500,000 per accident Bodily Injury Liability and $100,000 Property Damage Liability.

3 PM - Parade
Join us for a parade traveling from Elliott Drive to Amarillo Drive

4 PM - Festival Begins

FAQs

Where should we sit to watch the fireworks?
The fireworks will be visible on the north side of Community Park II, if you face the stage, you are looking in the right direction.

Where should I go for first-aid or lost and found?
These can be found at the City of American Canyon booth, and the American Canyon Police booth. If you find you have lost something important after the event concludes, please contact Parks and Recreation at 707-648-7275. We often find lost items the next day while cleaning the park in the daylight.

Can I bring my own food?
You are welcome to bring your own food, but barbecues or other cooking devices such as camp stoves are not permitted.

Where should I park?
Parking for this event is extremely limited and if you are local, we highly encourage you to walk or ride your bike to the event. Please be sure to park your bike at the racks located near the Boys and Girls Club as bikes are not permitted on park sidewalks or in the event area.

Can I just show up and sell food or items?
No. Vendors must be approved and registered through the City of American Canyon to ensure they are following health regulations and are insured. If you are a customer, please refrain from purchasing items from unpermitted vendors, and support local businesses who have paid their fees to be at the event.

Can I bring a shade canopy?
Yes, but you may not stake it into the ground. It must be secured with sandbags or other weights. American Canyon tends to be windy in the evening, and your canopy can blow away potentially injuring someone if not secured. Please set your shade tent at least 50 feet away from the stage to keep from blocking other people’s view. Once the sun goes down you must collapse and pack up your shade cover so that everyone may enjoy a view of the fireworks.

What time do the fireworks begin?
The fireworks are set to begin at 9:20pm or shortly after.

Where can I smoke or vape?
Smoking and vaping are not permitted within our parks or on the sidewalks surrounding. You must completely exit the park and surrounding sidewalks to smoke or vape.
