Facility Rental Application Guidelines


Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Proof of Residency for American Canyon Residents:

  • Valid California I.D.
  • Utility bill in the Applicant’s name.

Nonprofit Organizations

A Nonprofit Rate is available to organizations with approved State of California nonprofit 501(c)(3) status.

Evidence of nonprofit status is required to qualify for the nonprofit facility rental rate.


Process & Timeframes

Application Process

Applications are processed on a first come, first-serve basis.


  • A completed Facility Rental Application.
  • A refundable deposit fee.

Submitting an application does not guarantee or secure a facility, date, or desired times.

Reservation Timeframes

American Canyon residents can reserve indoor facilities up to 1 year in advance.

Nonresidents can reserve indoor facilities up to 6 months in advance.


Fees, Cancellations & Refunds

Payment of Fees

A refundable deposit is required at the time of reservation.

Rental fees are due 30 days prior to the rental date.

Cancellations & Refunds 

If the original Applicant cancels a rental seven (7) business days after booking and securing the rental date, the entire refundable deposit will be forfeited. The following schedule will be used to determine the City’s cancellation process pertaining to a facility rental refund:  

  • 7 Business Days After Securing the Facility Rental Date: the refundable deposit will be forfeited and retained by the city.  
  • From Date of Booking to Thirty-One (31) Days Prior to the Rental Date: the refundable deposit will be forfeited, and 50% of any rental fees paid to the City will be withheld from the refund.  
  • Thirty (30) Days or Less Prior to the Rental Date: All paid rental fees to the City, including the refundable deposit will be withheld.  

City facilities may close at any time, with or without notice, this includes closures due to inclement weather. City staff will make every effort to contact the Applicant ahead of time of any facility closures that may affect the rental. If a closure occurs and a rental is canceled on behalf of the city, a refund credit will be applied to the Applicant’s household. This credit may be used for any future Parks and Recreation program, service, camp, or rental.

Inclement Weather

The applicant will be required to contact the Parks and Recreation Department to cancel and reschedule their rental. Applicants may receive a refund or a credit on their household if a rental is canceled due to inclement weather. 


All credit and debit card refunds will go back to the original card. Payments made by cash or check will be refunded by check. Check will be mailed to the applicant within two week after the facility rental ends. 





Jump Houses

Great news!

You can now have bounce houses at our parks using our preferred vendors. 

Get a Permit

If you want a bounce house at your picnic, you will need to purchase a permit from the Parks and Recreation Department.

When you rent a picnic area online, choose the option for a bounce house.

After you pay for the permit, call Jump Jump Away at (707)363-9432 to order your bounce house. 

Permit Non-Compliance Leads to Cancellation 

Only bounce houses from our preferred vendor lists are allowed in the parks. Failure to obtain the proper permit of if the bounce house rental is booked with another vendor, your reservation will be cancelled and you will not be issued a refund (additional fees may be incurred). 



Reserve Online

Step 1.CivicRec Account

You will need a CivicRec account in order to begin the reservation process. Log in or create your CivicRec account.

Make your Selections

Use the Filters to select your desired dates then click through the park or facility options to decide which you would like to reserve, then click on that option.

Search on the calendar for available dates (green dates are available).

Choose the applicable date(s) and time(s) you would like to reserve and "Add to Cart."

Step 2.Check Out

Review the Facility Rental Rules and Regulations and click "Confirm Attachments". Before checking out, you will need to answer some questions about your reservation. When you're done, click "Submit Responses." Next, you will be asked to agree to the Waiver. After reading the waiver, check the box to agree, sign the waiver online, and click "Save." Then, click "Confirm Waiver Agreement." 

Step 3.Pay the Refundable Deposit

Follow the instructions to pay the refundable deposit for your reservation. All other fees must be paid thirty (30) days before your rental date. Your receipt will be emailed to you, with the Parks and Facilities Rules and Regulations.

Step 4.What Happens Next

A member of our Parks and Recreation team will contact you by phone within 72 business hours to review and approve your reservation. 

Reserve In-Person/By Phone

Step 1.Visit our Office 

Walk into City Hall to our Parks and Recreation Front Counter during business hours or call us at (707) 648-7275. You can also fill out a printable application and bring it completed to our office. 

Step 2.Check Availability 

Provide our Parks and Recreation team the date(s) and location for your event. We will check availability. 

Step 3.Processing Application 

If the date and location are available, we will start processing your application. If you don't have a Civic Rec account, we will create one for you. 

Step 4.Booking

We will book your requested date and time, ask questions about your reservation, and confirm all details and fees. 

Step 5.Payment and Confirmation 

You will need to pay the refundable deposit for your reservation. All other fees must be paid 30 days before your rental date. Your receipt will be emailed to you, along with the Parks and Facilities Rules and Regulations. You will also get an email to sign the waivers electronically.
