Parks Foundation volunteers have cleaned up more than 500 pounds of trash at the wetlands this year. Join us for our summer trail clean-up at the Wetlands Edge Trail for a community effort to preserve our beautiful wetlands. The day of service will consist of light trash clean-up with all materials, including gloves, trash bags, and garbage pickers, provided by the Parks Foundation. Interested volunteers will meet Parks Foundation staff at the Wetlands Edge Trailhead to be broken into work teams before canvasing popular trail locations, including Glass Beach, Myrna’s Point, and the outdoor fitness center/parking lot. This event is open to all ages. No pre-registration required.
