On June 16, 2026, the American Canyon City Council adopted the Parks and Recreation Master Plan, establishing a long-term vision for parks, recreation programs, facilities, trails, and open spaces throughout the community.

It serves as a roadmap for how the City can enhance and expand parks, recreation programs, facilities, trails, and open spaces over time, ensuring these amenities continue to meet the needs of our community while planning for the future.
